Qualifications: 7+ years of SaaS business development experience with 3+ years in software sales within the nonprofit or CSR sectors. Must possess strong executive communication skills, industry insight, and proven track record in achieving revenue through partnerships.

What you’ll do

We are looking for a seasoned Partner Development Manager with a passion for innovation and experience coaching partner executives to success. This role will be a critical influence in Blackbaud’s pursuit to become partner-obsessed. This highly motivated individual will bring a disciplined sales approach while strengthening our relationships. Strategic thinking and exceptional communication skills will be key assets as you translate partner profitability into Blackbaud business impact. 

This role will be responsible for establishing and executing end-to-end business plans with our top partners in the Corporate Impact business while building support internally to fuel stronger partner engagement with greater investment. It will do this more specifically by:

  • Build and execute partner business plans focused on short- and long-term goals to impact revenue while driving partner profitability.
  • Establish territory sales plans and drive regular pipeline reviews to ensure success, measure and manage partners’ success to maximize win-win results and strategic investments.
  • Influence executive partner relationships as a trusted advisor with empathy and authentic care.
  • Drive quarterly business reviews with partners to track progress against goals and commitments; collaborate for revenue and scorecard impact.
  • Identify and execute creative partnership opportunities across the social and private sectors to drive growth in the Corporate Impact business.
  • Expand Corporate Impact’s integration / Independent Software Vendor (ISV) offerings to drive increased bookings and retention.
  • Act as Corporate Impact’s conduit to Blackbaud’s Social Good Startup Program to identify and evaluate early-stage partnership opportunities.
  • Increase commitment from internal stakeholders, including but not limited to the sales organization, product, and product marketing, for partner solutions and capability, clearly articulating the partner value proposition while fostering proactive engagement.
  • Review and assess the technology and CSR industries and landscapes regularly, looking for key trends, shifts in market leadership, and new disruptive cloud technologies.

What you'll bring

  • 7+ years of experience in achieving revenue through business development of SaaS solutions.
  • 3+ years of software and cloud solution-based sales to senior business decision-makers within the nonprofit/CSR space.
  • Executive presence to influence and impact clients and partner executives.
  • Fluency in industry trends with an eye on market insight, technical conditions, and future direction.
  • Innovative, sky’s-the-limit thinking with the ability to envision and architect new GTM motions.

The starting base salary and annual proposed commission is $89,300.00 to $116,400.00. Blackbaud may pay more or less based on employee qualifications, market value, sales quota, Company finances, and other operational considerations.
