Location: This position is based in California with frequent travel required within the territory.
Compensation: $117000 - $200000 / Annually
The Talent Search Group at PiP is seeking a Regional Sales Executive Director (California) on behalf of our client, a leading K-12 learning resource provider.
Candidates must live in California and expect to travel frequently in the territory.
Base pay is $117k-$200k per year plus sales incentive.
The Regional Sales Director leads and motivates a Sales team to increase revenue/margin from developing brand-new accounts to driving expansion across existing accounts. This position ensures the achievement of sales goals, including analyzing and interpreting sales data, evaluating current business, and identifying new sales opportunities.
The Director:
- Develops strategy, target reports, business plans and executes the plan.
- Recruits, interviews, hires, trains and coaches the sales team.
- Evaluates goals and conducts performance reviews.
- Collaborates with internal departments to efficiently and effectively provide best-in-class service to customers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of relevant experience in the education technology industry, preferably with a focus on Core curricula; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
- Extensive knowledge of and experience with the California core curriculum adoption process.
- Experience leading remote teams preferred.
- Proven history of driving sales results and achieving goals.
