Role Snapshot
CDW seeks a Security Specialist to provide second-level cybersecurity incident response and client support for Managed Detection and Response services, primarily on Microsoft Sentinel and Defender technologies. The role combines 24/7 SOC support, service delivery improvements, and professional development opportunities.
Skills & Tools: Strong understanding of Managed Security Services, Microsoft technology stack (Sentinel, Defender, Azure), and incident response procedures with excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration abilities. Ability to work independently, provide mentorship, and apply Trusted Advisor techniques for client engagement.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 1 year of security experience in a client-focused or SOC environment, or 6 years total IT experience including 1 year in security. At least two intermediate-level certifications in Managed Security Services disciplines such as Microsoft SC-200/SC-100, CrowdStrike CFIR, or equivalent certifications.
Location: Mississauga, Ontario
Compensation: CA$33βCA$46/hr
