Day to Day:
As an Account Executive, you will own and drive the success of your assigned accounts and territory. Partnering with our CSM and SDR teams, you will target ideal customers within the trade and technical school vertical, and strategize on outreach methods to secure qualified opportunities. Leveraging your consultative approach, you will uncover challenges and opportunities with the school’s leadership team. After presenting Lumion’s innovative solutions, you will secure contracts with schools, and set them up for immediate success, handing them off to our Customer Success team. As a big-picture contributor, you will seek creative customer acquisition methods and develop relationships with non-school influencers in the space.
Your tenacity, sales acumen, and organization will be crucial in fostering strong partnerships that amplify our reach and impact. We're on the lookout for someone motivated to run great sales meetings, bring in new business, and accelerate our growth. Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the trade and technical school industry
- Run effective sales meetings, set by you, our referral partners and our sales development team, and manage the sales cycle from discovery to proposal to closed deal and onboarding.
- Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics to effectively position Lumion solutions to prospective customers
- Work closely with our partnerships, marketing, product development, and servicing teams
- Input all activity in CRM and report on sales performance analytics
Who You Are:
Experienced: You bring a minimum of 2 years of proven experience in full-cycle new business sales experience, with a preference for backgrounds in the education, financial services, and fintech sectors.
Strategic: Your understanding of blueprinting, large account strategy, and market dynamics allow you to successfully position solutions and win business with mid-market/ enterprise customers and/or large schools.
Communicative: Exceptional data gathering, presentation, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills are your forte, enabling you to build lasting relationships.
Driven: A self-starter mentality and results-oriented attitude drive your success in reaching and surpassing ambitious goals.
Team Player: You thrive in collaborative environments and contribute proactively to the team’s success.
Educated: Holding a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
Proficient: You have managed your sales activity & pipeline in a CRM and have experience using sales productivity tools.
Agile: You are able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
