About the

Role: We’re looking for a highly organized, strategic, and AI-forward Strategic Planner to help drive operational excellence across Blackbaud’s Architecture, Platform, Engineering, and eXperience organization. In this role, you will bring structure, clarity, and execution discipline to complex initiatives that support product innovation, engineering effectiveness, and organizational growth. As a trusted partner to senior leaders, you will help translate strategy into measurable outcomes while fostering collaboration across Engineering, Product, Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and other business functions. Success in this role requires a strong focus on Results Driven execution and Driving Accountability, paired with the ability to thrive in ambiguity, influence across teams, and continuously improve how work gets done. Your contributions will directly support Blackbaud’s mission to fuel social impact by enabling high-performing teams to deliver exceptional technology and customer outcomes. What you'll do Lead strategic, operational, and transformation planning activities across the Architecture, Platform, Engineering, and eXperience organization, ensuring alignment with business priorities and long-term goals. Establish and optimize operating rhythms, including leadership reviews, planning processes, performance reporting, and operational health metrics that improve visibility and decision-making. Partner with Finance and Vendor Management to support budgeting, forecasting, contract management, software licensing oversight, and investment planning across multiple cost centers. Develop and execute communication strategies that strengthen organizational alignment through leadership updates, team meetings, all-hands sessions, knowledge management, and change initiatives. Support workforce planning and hiring execution by partnering with Talent Acquisition and Human Resources on recruiting activities, onboarding coordination, workforce programs, and organizational readiness. Own administration and operational effectiveness of developer experience, engineering learning, and enablement platforms while managing vendor relationships, licensing, usage, and support activities. Champion continuous improvement by leveraging AI-assisted tools to improve planning, reporting, communications, operational processes, and organizational effectiveness while experimenting with emerging technologies that create business value. What you'll bring 5+ years of progressive experience in operations management, technical program management, business operations, strategic planning, or a related role within a technology or software-as-a-service organization. Knowledge of organizational planning, operational governance, performance measurement, and business process optimization, with demonstrated experience building and tracking meaningful metrics. Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, vendor management, workforce planning, and change management practices within complex, cross-functional organizations. Experience partnering with senior leaders to drive strategic initiatives, influence decision-making, manage stakeholder relationships, and deliver measurable business outcomes. Strong analytical, communication, facilitation, and project management capabilities, coupled with experience using AI-assisted tools, collaboration platforms, and operational systems to improve execution and efficiency.
