Summary
Account Executive for Scholastic Education Solutions responsible for strengthening educational partnerships and driving sales across assigned school districts in Kentucky. This role involves building relationships with stakeholders and increasing revenue through strategic positioning of learning materials and educational products.
Key Responsibilities: Lead assigned districts, develop relationships with all stakeholders, conduct needs assessments, and manage account growth through product positioning and demonstrations. Maintain CRM documentation, generate RFPs, close sales, and travel up to 60% to meet customer needs and expand Scholastic's market penetration.
Skills & Tools: Proven sales experience with strong relationship-building and communication abilities, proficiency in MS Office and CRM software, and knowledge of academic curriculum and educational environments.
Qualifications: 10+ years of experience in education-related roles with a background in strategic sales, Bachelor's Degree preferred. Knowledge of academic curriculum and school district operations is advantageous.
Location: Remote position based in New York, United States, with required travel up to 60%.
Compensation: $85,000 – $99,000/year
