Field Service Technician responsible for installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of Interactive Flat Panel Display (IFPD) devices at customer locations across Pune. This role ensures timely resolution of hardware and software issues while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities: Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and service IFPD devices at customer sites; diagnose and resolve hardware issues (power boards, motherboards, displays, audio, cameras, connectivity); perform software/firmware troubleshooting; prepare RCA reports with technical documentation; coordinate with support teams and ensure SLA compliance.
Skills & Tools: Hands-on IFPD hardware servicing knowledge; proficiency in electronics troubleshooting, Windows/Android, firmware/APK, OPS, and LAN/network diagnostics; competency with multimeters and diagnostic tools; strong communication, customer handling, and independent problem-solving abilities.
Qualifications: No formal education specified; requires hands-on experience in IFPD hardware servicing and electronics troubleshooting; must own a two-wheeler with valid driving license and be willing to travel independently across Pune and nearby locations.
Location: In-Person - Pune, India
Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation for this role is ₹2,50,000 – ₹4,00,000/year based on title, seniority, and location.

About the Role:
Responsible for installation, troubleshooting, repair, replacement, and maintenance of IFPD devices at customer
locations across Pune, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend customer sites for IFPD installation, inspection, troubleshooting, repair, replacement and service.
  • Diagnose and repair hardware issues related to Power Board, Motherboard, T-Con, LCM, Touch/IR PCB,
  • FFCs, OPS, Display, Audio, Camera, and connectivity ports.
  • Perform internal hardware inspection, connector/FFC checks, voltage measurements, spare-part replacement, and functional testing.
  • Troubleshoot software, firmware, APK, Windows/Android, OPS, and application-related issues.
  • Handle basic IT hardware and LAN/network troubleshooting.
  • Perform IFPD installation/uninstallation and post-repair testing.
  • Collect photos, videos, serial numbers, voltage readings, and technical details and prepare accurate RCA reports.
  • Coordinate with the Service/Support team for technical assistance and ensure cases are closed within the defined SLA.
  • Ensure proper packing and handover of faulty panels/spares for reverse pickup for the service cases attended.
  • Maintain professional customer communication and ensure a positive on-site experience.
Required Skills:
  • Hands-on knowledge of IFPD hardware servicing.
  • Good knowledge of IFPD hardware, electronics, software troubleshooting, Windows/Android, firmware/APK, OPS, and LAN/network troubleshooting.
  • Basic knowledge of using multimeter and diagnostic tools.
  • Good communication, customer-handling, and problem-solving skills.
Requirements:
  • Must own a bike/two-wheeler and have a valid driving license.
  • Willingness to travel across Pune and nearby customer locations.
  • Comfortable working independently at customer sites.
  • Travel allowance will be provided as per company policy.
