The Director, Content and Systems, Adoptions and Proposals leads a team of professionals responsible for building and maintaining the proposal content database, strengthening partnerships with subject matter experts, and curating accurate, compliant boilerplate content. In partnership with stakeholders and team leaders, this Director also stewards the evolution of content and workflow systems, promoting effective use of platforms such as Qvidian, Smartsheet, and related solutions so that data and systems enable timely, compelling, and insight-driven content for cross-functional teams. The impact you'll have: Lead a geographically diverse, remote Content & Systems Team, with responsibility for hiring, performance management, coaching, promotions, and talent planning. Establish governance, standards, workflows, and KPIs for boilerplate and custom proposal content and accessibility practices, while managers operationalize these within their domains. Provide executive oversight of Qvidian and related content and workflow platforms (e.g., Smartsheet, SharePoint), setting enhancement priorities and partnering with the VP, Adoptions & Proposals, the IT business partner, and other related teams on roadmaps, integrations, and major vendor decisions. Ensure technology and accessibility-related RFP and rubric requirements are consistently addressed across Adoptions & Proposals deliverables, coordinating with Accessibility and Technology/Security partners as needed. Oversee assignment of content leads for proposals and rubrics, participating in go-forward RFP decisions and aligning appropriate expertise to complex and high-priority opportunities. Work with A&P leaders to guide the strategic direction and success metrics for systems innovation and AI-enabled efficiencies across the Adoptions & Proposals department. Work with A&P leaders to facilitate access to relevant professional development, including training in systems, accessibility, AI tools, and cross-functional product knowledge. Lead or co-lead key strategic initiatives and cross-functional workstreams that extend beyond individual manager scopes, helping resolve conflicts, balance priorities, and maintain alignment with departmental and organizational goals. Perform other relevant duties, as assigned. Proven ability to work collaboratively and effectively across departments and business units with competing needs Effective management of cross-functional department teams Proficiency with Qvidian, Word, Excel, Adobe Pro, SharePoint, and other standard business applications Required Education and Experience: 7+ years of professional experience 5+ years of experience in the K–12 edpub / edtech industry Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent Benefits and Pay Range: Pay Range – This role’s range is $110,500-$196,500. The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that Curriculum Associates considers in making compensation decisions based on our Compensation Philosophy. Actual base pay within that range will vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, prior experience and relevant skill sets. At Curriculum Associates, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances for each case. This role is also eligible to participate in the company bonus plan. The Company recognizes that minimum wage varies by location and will ensure all compensation decisions comply with applicable state and local laws.
