About the Role: The Account Manager/Executive is responsible for delivering sales targets by developing and executing effective commercial strategies. This role manages and expands key distributor and account relationships, using strong market insight and relationship-building skills to shape demand and identify growth opportunities. The position leads the full sales cycle, including proposal development, negotiation of orders, promotions, and commercial terms, while ensuring smooth day‑to‑day customer operations. A core focus of the role is to cultivate and maintain strong, long‑term customer partnerships that support sustainable business growth.

How you will make an impact: Manage and expand key accounts Drive revenue growth by executing targeted sales plans for assigned key accounts. Use sales and order trend analysis to proactively identify and pursue upsell and new product opportunities. Coordinate closely with internal teams and customers to progress opportunities and resolve issues. Create high‑impact proposals that address customer needs and convert opportunities. Maintain strong, effective customer relationships to support repeat and incremental business. Service Adoption Accounts Drive adoption of print and digital solutions by building and maintaining strong relationships with professors. Oversee the order and adoption process, with a focus on digital solutions such as WileyPlus. Coordinate WileyPlus product onboarding and training to ensure effective usage and adoption. Sales and marketing Support Provide timely and accurate support on orders received, including responses to enquiries on pricing, stock availability, and other related issues. Collaborate closely with overseas colleagues to ensure sales operations run smoothly and efficiently. Disseminate new product information to Key Contacts in a timely manner. Work closely with the marketing team to support and execute marketing activities as required. Customer Insights Provide analysed and evaluated insights on products, customers, markets, and potential customers through qualitative and quantitative research and data analysis. Translate customer needs and experiences into actionable recommendations to address business challenges and support the development of effective growth proposals. Measurement, results and reporting Define and deliver agreed KPIs in line with business objectives. Gather and clarify reporting requirements from stakeholders. Translate reporting needs into clear, actionable dashboards and reports. Establish appropriate metrics for each objective and regularly measure, analyse, and report performance. Corporate Responsibilities Adhere to all company policies and procedures. Demonstrate initiative in performing duties and continuously review current work practices, recommending improvements to enhance efficiency
