Role Snapshot
Software Engineer Intern position at Elsevier Health's Nursing Health Education LEARN team, part of the Rising TIDE inclusion program. Interns will gain hands-on experience contributing to innovative health education technology through collaborative software development.
Skills & Tools: Required proficiency in Java and Python, knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, AWS, RDS, PostgreSQL), effective communication, and analytical abilities. Familiarity with unit/integration testing and Agile/Scrum methodology is advantageous.
Qualifications: Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or related field with expected graduation by May 2027. Demonstrated hands-on development experience in Java and Python required.
Location: Pennsylvania
Compensation: $28–$30/hr
