Summary
The Director, Assessment & Curriculum leads the design, development, and evaluation of educational programs at Western Governors University, transforming college programs into engaging competency-based student experiences. This role drives continuous improvement in student outcomes through data-driven strategies and innovative assessment methodologies.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee curriculum and assessment design aligned with program strategy, develop and manage a team of product owners and assessment strategists, and manage budgets for product development initiatives. Measure program effectiveness using student engagement and performance data, implement stakeholder feedback strategies, and communicate with stakeholders throughout project lifecycles.
Skills & Tools: Strong leadership, data analysis, budget management, and team coordination capabilities; expertise in curriculum design, educational assessment, and competency-based program development with effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field with 10 years of relevant experience, including 5 years supervising a team; advanced degree preferred and knowledge of accreditation standards is advantageous.
Location: Hybrid in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States of America
Compensation: $126,800 – $228,300/year
