Role Snapshot
The Palo Alto Networks Solution Specialist drives revenue and profit for a dedicated sales segment at CDW by serving as a subject matter expert on partner products and market strategies. This role collaborates closely with CDW Account Managers, sales leadership, and partners to identify and win net new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities: Day-to-day responsibilities include communicating partner products and go-to-market strategies to CDW sales, facilitating training on partner offerings, attending customer-facing events, and developing quarterly sales plans. The specialist also maintains stakeholder communication, provides monthly performance reports, and acts as a liaison between CDW Sales and Product and Partner Management teams.
Skills & Tools: Required skills include strong communication abilities, proficiency in Microsoft Office, excellent multitasking capabilities, and strategic thinking with demonstrated financial acumen. The candidate should also possess subject matter expertise in designated partner products and understanding of competitive landscape and market trends.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of sales or marketing experience is preferred, or equivalent professional experience. Candidates should have proven ability to drive revenue, manage stakeholder relationships, and identify business opportunities.
Location: Chicago, Illinois
Compensation: $56K–$80K/yr
