Summary
Lead domestic accounting operations and financial integrity for Waterford.org, a mission-driven educational organization. Drive strategic financial leadership, compliance, and cross-functional collaboration to support educational access and equity initiatives.
Skills & Tools: Strong leadership and collaboration abilities with proficiency in financial reporting, compliance management, and accounting process optimization. Advanced expertise with Microsoft Office and accounting systems (particularly NetSuite) required.
Qualifications: BA/BS in Accounting required; CPA preferred with 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in nonprofit sectors. Proven track record of leadership and advanced proficiency with accounting systems essential.
Location: Remote - Anywhere in the U.S. (minimal travel required: 1-2 times per year)
Compensation: $130,000 – $165,000 / annually
