Role Snapshot

Sr. Account Executive role at NWEA (HMH division) responsible for acquiring new partners and driving revenue growth in the West region (CA, OR, WA, CO). This position focuses on building strategic relationships with school districts and managing complex sales cycles in the K-12 educational assessment market.

Key Responsibilities: Acquire new customers, develop territory strategies, and manage sales pipelines for assigned geographic regions covering up to 1,500 student enrollment districts. Collaborate with internal teams including Marketing, Partner Support, and Professional Learning while personally prospecting and closing opportunities for NWEA products and services.
Skills & Tools: Strong sales acumen, negotiation skills, CRM proficiency (Salesforce preferred), excellent communication, and organizational abilities. Knowledge of K-12 education industry funding, state initiatives, and regulatory mandates required.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in education, business, or related field with preferred 5-10 years of educational sales experience. Deep understanding of K-12 education industry and school district operations essential.
Location: California, Oregon
Compensation: $100K–$120K/yr
