Summary

Sr. Acquisition Account Executive at Pluralsight responsible for expanding revenue and acquiring new accounts through strategic engagement with C-level executives. This role owns the full sales cycle and develops high-value opportunities in assigned territories.

Key Responsibilities: Own the complete sales cycle from lead generation to contract signature, consistently meeting revenue targets. Source and manage a pipeline of high-value opportunities, strategically engage C-level executives, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless customer experiences.
Skills & Tools: 1-3 years of sales experience with demonstrated pipeline management and contract closing abilities. Requires excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills, proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM tools, and knowledge of sales methodologies such as Solution-Selling or Challenger Sale.
Qualifications: 1-3 years of sales experience with demonstrated success in head hunting and strategically pursuing net new logos. Experience managing pipelines and closing contracts required.
Location: Remote (USA); applicants within 45 miles of Westlake/Dallas, TX office expected to work on-site Tuesday-Thursday with remote flexibility Monday-Friday. Travel up to 40% depending on business needs.

Job Description:

An Acquisition Account Executive Team is responsible for the revenue expansion of their accounts in the region and net new logos. You will also work closely with and provide direction to the extended account team (solution engineers, business development reps and customer success managers), to identify the best 'plan of attack', increase efficiencies, and develop winning tactics and strategies for your accounts.

What you'll do:

  • Own the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract signature, consistently meeting and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Source, develop, and manage your own pipeline of high-value opportunities, ensuring a consistent flow of qualified deals.
  • Strategically engage C-level executives and senior decision-makers, aligning our solutions with their top business priorities and demonstrating clear business impact.
  • Develop and complete a comprehensive territory plan that aligns with corporate strategy and improves revenue growth.
  • Leverage sophisticated sales methodologies (such as Solution-Selling, Challenger Sale, or Value Selling) to drive high-impact engagements and accelerate deal velocity.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (solution engineers, business development reps, customer success managers) to ensure a seamless customer experience and improve account expansion.
  • Maintain rigorous pipeline discipline, forecast accuracy, and sales process excellence, ensuring full visibility into deal progression and success metrics.
  • Be accountable for consistently generating pipeline revenue

Experience you'll bring:

  • This is a remote role; however, applicants located within 45 miles of our Westlake/Dallas, TX office should expect to work on-site Tuesday through Thursday, with remote flexibility on Mondays and Fridays.   • Travel: Travel expectations differ by role. Some quota-bearing sales positions involve limited travel, while others may involve travel of up to 40%, depending on business needs.

The annual base salary + variable for this role is $118,000 - $140,000 USD. Pluralsight's pay ranges vary based on work location. Talent Acquisition can share more detail during the hiring process when applicable. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. In addition to the base salary and variable, this role may also be eligible for benefits and bonuses.
