A Sales Development Representative role within n2y LLC's Workplace division responsible for prospecting, lead qualification, and appointment setting to support Business Development Managers. The position offers career development in a sales-focused environment with emphasis on outbound engagement and pipeline management.

Key Responsibilities: Make outbound calls to qualified leads, conduct cold calling and email prospecting, qualify and nurture Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) into Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs), and maintain accurate records in CRM systems. Deliver product explanations and sales presentations across multiple channels while tracking metrics and achieving agreed meeting targets.
Skills & Tools: Proficiency with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce), Google Suite or Microsoft Office, and social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter) for B2B prospecting. Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills with demonstrated commercial acumen and ability to identify business opportunities.
Qualifications: Minimum 1+ year of relevant sales experience including cold calling, lead nurturing, and lead qualification with proven track record of exceeding sales targets. Minimum 2 years' experience with CRM systems and experience in SaaS environments preferred.
Location: Huron, Ohio
Compensation: $32K–$45K/yr (estimated)

Job Description

About the role

Working within the Workplace division, this role requires a results-focused individual with a can-do attitude; expected to engage with a range of internal and external stakeholders on a daily basis to help achieve the division’s strategic goals.

Working as part of a small dedicated team, you will be tasked with arranging a minimum set number of appointments per week for our Business Development Managers. This position will require a strong focus on outreach, prospecting, and lead qualification. Working closely with our Sales Team, you will manage follow-up of quality sales leads and undertake productive engagement with prospective customers across multiple channels. The role

would be well suited to an individual looking to develop a career in Sales.


Main Responsibilities

  • Ensure the sales teams have quality appointments by making outbound calls to qualified leads
  • Conduct/perform prospecting activities including making cold calls, sending emails, delivering on social strategies, etc
  • Manage all business-related activities at the forefront of the sales process on Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs)
  • Qualify, nurture, manage and convert MQLs to Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) using a
  • systematic process developed through collaboration with sales and marketing leaders
  • Explain our products to prospects including inbound marketing leads and outbound prospecting leads 
  • Perform sales presentations over the phone, web and in-person as needed
  • Produce creative strategies for targeting decision-makers at prospect accounts in order to book sales appointments and influence company revenue
  • Make effective use of CRM to track, assign, and qualify leads
  • Maintain pipeline of prospects via Outreach Sales Enablement platform and achieve agreed targets of booked meetings for acquisition team
  • Research and build database of contacts
  • Accurately update and maintain internal records and systems
  • Ensure the start of the customer journey reflects our business in a positive light
  • Generate reports as required to track business metrics
  • Applicants must be willing and able to undertake occasional travel as required for the role

Essential Criteria

  • 1+ year of relevant sales experience, including cold calling, lead nurturing, and lead qualification.
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets while delivering an exceptional customer experience, particularly through remote channels.
  • Proficiency in IT tools, with experience using Google Suite or Microsoft Office, including Sheets or Excel.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Twitter) and an established network to enhance both personal and company brand in a B2B environment.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Solid commercial acumen with the ability to identify business opportunities and drive revenue growth.

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience working in a SaaS business environment.
  • Strong understanding of digital products and services, with an aptitude for navigating technology-driven sales.
