Summary

Score Reporting Project Manager at Learning A-Z (Cambium Assessment) responsible for strategically designing and visualizing data insights for educational testing clients. The role involves managing multiple reporting projects, leading client communications, and overseeing junior staff to deliver accurate reports and online testing solutions.

Key Responsibilities: Develop data visualizations and reporting specifications for schools and districts; manage end-to-end reporting projects including design, deployment, and quality assurance across online and paper reports; lead client meetings, train end users, and manage junior staff to ensure timely delivery of zero-defect deliverables.
Skills & Tools: Expert Excel proficiency, data analysis and reporting expertise, strong client communication and presentation abilities, project management and team leadership, knowledge of online systems and data query logic, and ability to collaborate cross-functionally with designers, developers, and technical staff.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Educational Measurement, or related field with 5-8 years of project and client management experience; Master's degree in Business Management or Public Administration with 3-6 years of relevant experience preferred. Programming or data reporting experience desired.

Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation for this role is $75,000 – $95,000/year based on title, seniority, and location.

Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Think strategically about uses of data and how data use interacts with data design.

  • Creatively visualize data in a variety of formats to provide relevant insights to families, schools and districts

  • Work with senior psychometricians and clients to establish new measures and visual displays to communicate the measures.

  • Responsible for gathering reporting specifications across multiple clients.

  • Use detailed specifications documents to compose and produce accurate reports based on user requirements.

  • Develop, deploy, and maintain reports using CAI’s proprietary Centralized Reporting System Client Communications

  • Runs all client communications regarding technical data requirements, reporting specifications and issues.

  • Facilitates resolutions for clients.

  • Travel to various States to lead and facilitate client meetings to gather reporting specifications for paper and online reports.

  • Train end users to access and understand online and paper reporting tools.

  • Use documented logic to query the data for anomalies or inconsistencies.

  • Conduct rigorous quality assurance checks on systems data integration for all online reports across multiple clients.

  • Work with program managers, designers, and software project managers to implement the next generation of paper and online reporting tools.

  • Develop and manage schedules and key milestones for multiple reporting projects.

  • Train new junior staff on all reporting processes and procedures

  • Manage the work of junior staff to ensure all deliverables are produced and delivered on time and with zero issues

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Statistics, Economics, Educational Measurement, or a related field required and 5-8 years of project and client management experience.

  • Master’s degree in Business Management or Public Administration and 3-6 years of project and client management experience a plus

  • Experience with programming, data analysis or data reporting in any industry is desired.

  • Experience working with online systems a plus

  • Must have the ability to work with a matrix team that includes graphic project managers, designers, developers and software testers.

  • Must have exceptional knowledge of Excel.

  • Must have excellent client communication skills.
