The Talent Search Group at PiP is seeking an Account Executive (Inland Empire California) on behalf of our client, a leading provider of curriculum, intervention, assessment, and courseware solutions and services for K-12 educators and learners.
The Account Executive builds long-lasting, beneficial relationships with K-12 decision-makers and users to ensure they receive a world class customer experience.
The AE performs sales presentations, promotions, trade shows, seminars, and various sales-related duties necessary to achieve maximum sales.
In this role you will
- Present and demonstrate the value of products and services to prospective buyers
- Develop sales strategies to meet assigned quotas
- Make cold calls or reach out to prospects
- Compile and analyze data to find trends
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree plus at least 7-10 years of external sales-related experience; or an acceptable combination of education and experience
- Comprehensive and current knowledge of company offerings and industry trends or ability to quickly learn
- Experience working in California with district-level Curriculum decision-makers
- Computer skills, including MS Office and CRM software
Compensation: Base pay is $74K-$95K annually, plus sales incentive
Location: Location is remote from your home office; to be considered you must reside in Riverside or San Bernardino counties (or be willing to travel daily to the Inland Empire territory). Candidates must be able to travel up to 75% of the time, at least 3 days/week, including overnight travel.
