Role Snapshot
Common Sense Media seeks a President to drive transformational growth, amplify organizational impact, and lead fundraising initiatives while serving as a public spokesperson. The role will work in close partnership with the CEO and executive team to achieve ambitious strategic objectives and expand reach to diverse communities.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategic priorities that drive organizational growth, oversee comprehensive fundraising strategies to grow the donor base and secure major gifts, and identify business partnerships that create sustainable revenue streams. Serve as a compelling spokesperson and thought leader representing the organization at high-profile events and in media while building coalitions to advance public policy positions.
Skills & Tools: Strategic leadership, relationship building, fundraising expertise, public speaking, and mentoring capabilities. Must be an inspiring communicator capable of articulating the mission compellingly to diverse audiences including business leaders, philanthropists, and media outlets.
Qualifications: Proven track record of securing major funding and business revenue with a strategic mindset able to translate vision into actionable plans. Must possess exceptional public speaking skills and demonstrated passion for education and child advocacy.
Location: San Francisco, California
Compensation: $200K–$250K/yr
