Role Snapshot

Lead and scale Incident IQ's partner program by developing strategic partnerships, channel relationships, and ISV integrations that drive revenue growth and expand market reach. This role is critical to building a scalable partner ecosystem that enhances the company's offering for K-12 districts.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute comprehensive partner sales strategy, recruit and onboard new channel and strategic partners, manage partner programs with incentives and enablement, build ISV program from early-stage to scalable motion, and track partner performance metrics. Collaborate across marketing, product, and sales teams while representing the company at industry events and evaluating strategic technology partnerships.
Skills & Tools: Strategic partnership development, channel sales management, business development, relationship building, and program design expertise. Experience with CRM and partner management tools, strong communication and negotiation skills, and ability to analyze partner performance data.
Qualifications: 7+ years of experience in partnership development, channel sales, or business development roles with proven track record of building and scaling partner programs. Knowledge of K-12 education sector or SaaS/software partnerships preferred.
Location: Remote
Compensation: $180K–$280K/yr (estimated)

Overview:

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven VP, Partnerships to lead and scale our partner program. This role is critical to expanding our strategy and reach through channel partners, resellers, and strategic alliances. You will be responsible for developing and executing a partner strategy that drives revenue growth, enhances partner engagement, and strengthens our ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive partner sales strategy aligned with company goals.
  • Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel and strategic partners.
  • Build strong relationships with key partners to drive joint business planning and co-selling opportunities.
  • Define and manage partner programs, including incentives, enablement, and performance metrics.
  • Build an ISV program early-stage through scalable repeatable motion
  • Identify and prioritize integration partners that expand product value
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and sales teams to support partner success.
  • Track, analyze, and report on partner performance and pipeline.
  • Represent the company at industry events, partner meetings, and conferences.
  • Evaluate and promote strategic technology partners that expand our offering for both partners and direct sellers.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in partner sales, channel management, or business development in the software/SaaS industry.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling partner ecosystems.
  • Strong understanding of indirect sales models and partner dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on, execution-oriented mindset.
  • Experience with CRM and partner management tools.
