Role Snapshot

The Higher Education Partnership Consultant maximizes institutional revenues for Oxford University Press in the US by managing relationships with universities and driving digital content adoptions. This high-profile position serves as the key contact for extending OUP's institutional profile and promoting inclusive and equitable access programs.

Key Responsibilities: Manage relationships with institutional customers, coordinate with bookstores and vendors to deliver digital content, identify new business opportunities in assigned territories, and serve as a single point of contact for bookstores and universities. Present annual business plans, liaise with marketing teams, and monitor market trends to maintain competitive advantage.
Skills & Tools: Consultative sales experience, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to present to diverse audiences, and strong organizational abilities. Commercial awareness of institutional sales models and demonstrable knowledge of university learning resource needs and sector issues.
Qualifications: Experience with institutional sales models and consultative selling roles, knowledge of higher education publishing trends, and fluency in English. Understanding of university organizational culture and priorities.
Location: Remote - United States
Compensation: $59K–$74K/yr
