Amplify is seeking an energetic and driven Associate Account Executive to become an expert on our solutions, identify opportunities within schools and districts, and achieve revenue targets. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, skilled in consultative sales, and ready to work diligently to build and grow the business. A deep understanding of the K-12 sector, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and a strong drive to meet and exceed sales goals are essential to success in this role.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain expertise in Amplify’s products and services.
- Lead consultative sales conversations to identify customer needs and align Amplify’s solutions to meet those needs.
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Stay current with educational market trends, industry developments, and funding opportunities to better understand customer needs and inform sales strategies.
- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders in school districts, including Superintendents, Curriculum Directors, Department Heads, and influential educators.
- Provide accurate and timely reporting of pipeline, forecasts, account plans, and territory management activities.
- Maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients and manage all sales activities within the assigned territory.
- Collaborate with the Regional VP and District Manager to implement effective sales campaigns in your assigned region.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Willingness to travel extensively (60-70% travel).
- Excellent verbal, written and comprehension skills.
- 0-1 years of successful direct sales experience in the education sector.
- Experience in teaching or education technology/publishing.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Experience selling to schools and districts within the assigned region.
What we offer:
Salary is only one component of the Amplify Total Rewards package, which includes a 401(k) plan, competitive health insurance and mental health options, basic life insurance, paid time off, parental leave, and access to best-in-class development programs. The gross annualized salary range for this role is $75,000 - $85,000. This role is eligible for commissions based pay.
