Summary

Join HMH as a Field Account Executive in West Virginia to build relationships with school district leaders and drive sales of educational technology solutions that enhance student outcomes. This field-based role focuses on generating new business, securing renewals, and expanding partnerships within a designated territory.

Key Responsibilities: Design and implement sales strategies to meet quota, plan strategic sales calls aligned with district adoption timelines, identify customer needs and market trends, and maintain strong relationships with school district leaders. Update CRM systems regularly and provide necessary information to support resources and consultants.
Skills & Tools: Strong sales and communication abilities, problem-solving skills, familiarity with educational technology, and the ability to convey product features, advantages, and benefits effectively. Classroom teaching experience is preferred.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in education, business, marketing, or liberal arts required; educational or technology sales experience is mandatory. Must be able to travel up to 70% of the time and be based in West Virginia (preferably Charlestown or Morgantown).
Location: Field-based, Remote from West Virginia, United States (Preferably Charlestown or Morgantown)
Compensation: $75,000 – $85,000/year plus uncapped commissions
