Summary

Deputy General Counsel, Safety & Compliance at EverDriven leads student safety and regulatory compliance initiatives for the nation's leading alternative student transportation provider. The role drives accountability and continuous improvement across legal operations, safety oversight, and compliance programs.

Key Responsibilities: Oversee student safety frameworks, regulatory compliance, contract and MOU reviews, and quarterly audits while translating safety and legal requirements into operational practices. Lead a company-wide transformation of compliance and safety systems to enable scalable growth and foster a strong culture of accountability.

Skills & Tools: 5-7 years in safety, compliance, or legal operations with strong leadership, project management, systems thinking, and exceptional communication abilities. Experience designing safety programs, contract management expertise, and commitment to student safety and continuous improvement required.

Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) degree required with experience in regulated industries and ability to design comprehensive safety programs. Preferred background includes regulated industry experience and knowledge of compliance systems implementation.

Location: Greenwood Village, Colorado, United States (Hybrid: 4 days in-office, 1 day remote)

Compensation: $175,000 – $200,000 / annually
