Summary

Handshake seeks experienced Calibration Technicians for flexible, contract-based work supporting AI research by evaluating AI-generated content related to calibration and metrology tasks. This is a part-time, project-based opportunity that can be done alongside primary employment.

Key Responsibilities: Design job-related questions and review AI-generated responses for accuracy and relevance to real-world calibration and metrology work. Use professional calibration experience to evaluate content and provide feedback that helps AI understand technical requirements and terminology.
Skills & Tools: 4+ years of professional experience as a Calibration Technician or in related metrology/instrumentation roles with hands-on calibration experience. Strong written communication skills, attention to detail, ability to work independently, and professional judgment are essential.
Qualifications: 4+ years of professional experience as a Calibration Technician or in closely related fields such as metrology, instrumentation, or test and measurement. Hands-on experience with calibrations, reference standards, test equipment, and quality system documentation required; no prior AI experience necessary.
Location: Fully remote; available to anyone with reliable internet connection and access to desktop or laptop computer from anywhere, though based in San Jose, California area.
