Role Snapshot

Build relationships with K-12 schools to sell Newsela's engaging reading content and drive sales growth in your assigned territory. This role directly impacts the expansion of Newsela's products to classrooms nationwide.

Key Responsibilities: Manage the entire sales lifecycle, build new business relationships with key decision makers, and achieve revenue targets while conducting pipeline management and forecasting. Develop expertise in your territory's funding, state initiatives, and K-12 education landscape to inform sales strategy.
Skills & Tools: 1+ years of SaaS sales experience with proven ability to hit or exceed quota and build a book of business. Strong relationship-building and stakeholder navigation skills, with knowledge of education/pedagogy and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume sales environment.
Qualifications: Minimum 1+ years hitting or exceeding SaaS sales quotas with demonstrated expertise managing multiple stakeholders. Preferred experience as a teacher or strong understanding of educational challenges and solutions.
Location: United States
Compensation: $50K–$70K/yr
