Senior Product Manager at PeopleGrove responsible for owning product strategy, discovery, and end-to-end delivery for assigned product areas in the higher education SaaS space. This role has significant influence over the company's growth direction and product expansion.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct problem framing and customer discovery to translate requests into clear requirements, build and maintain focus-area roadmaps, and lead cross-functional delivery with Engineering and Design from concept through launch. Partner with Customer Success and Sales to synthesize client feedback, maintain product documentation, and ensure stakeholder alignment.
Skills & Tools: Strong analytical thinking with data-driven decision-making, demonstrated customer discovery and requirement translation abilities, and excellent written and verbal communication. Cross-functional collaboration with Engineering and Design, comfort navigating ambiguity, and user-centric product thinking.
Qualifications: 3-5 years of B2B SaaS product management experience with demonstrated success in customer discovery and translating insights into product requirements. Bonus experience in higher education, curriculum/syllabus management, or launching/transitioning products is preferred.
Location: Remote - Remote Role
Compensation: $150K–$220K/yr (estimated)
Job Description
What You'll Own:
Problem framing and discovery: Translate feature requests into clear problem statements through structured conversations, research, and analysis before proposing solutions.
Strategic product ownership: Become the product expert for assigned product areas by understanding workflows, user behavior, technical considerations, and business impact.
Roadmap and prioritization: Build and maintain focus-area roadmaps, prioritizing work based on user value, company strategy, and measurable outcomes.
End-to-end delivery: Work closely with Engineering and Design from concept through requirements, build, launch, and iteration.
Stakeholder alignment: Lead productive discussions and ensure decisions are documented and aligned across teams.
Client request intake and synthesis: Partner with Customer Success and Sales to understand incoming client requests, ask thoughtful follow-up questions, and identify patterns across feedback.
Qualifications :
3 to 5 years of product management experience in B2B SaaS or a similar environment.
Demonstrated ability to conduct customer discovery and translate insights into clear product requirements.
Strong analytical thinking and comfort using data to inform decisions.
Experience working cross-functionally with Engineering and Design.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and competing stakeholder priorities.
What Success Looks Like (First 6–12 Months) :
You have a deep understanding of the product and product strategy.
You are familiar with industry standards and market trends.
You have completed discovery for 3–5 product ideas.
You have delivered 3–5 roadmap projects from requirements through release.
You maintain product documentation.
Bonus Qualifications:
Experience launching new products.
Experience transitioning users out of legacy products.
Experience in higher education, curriculum / syllabus management, compentency-based learning.
