Job Description

Graphic Designer, Marketing

Dallas, TX (On-site at UWorld HQ)

Make learning look as good as it works

Every day, millions of students trust UWorld to help them pass the exams that shape their futures, from the SAT and ACT to the USMLE, NCLEX, and CPA. Behind every brochure, ad, and tradeshow booth is a story about confidence, achievement, and second chances. We’re looking for a Graphic Designer who can tell that story visually.

You’ll be a creative partner to teams across the company, turning ideas into designs that stop the scroll, spark curiosity, and move people to act. One day you’re building branding for a social campaign; the next you’re shaping a tradeshow booth design or helping our developers polish an app screen. If you love variety, take pride in the details, and want your work to reach a huge audience, we’d love to see what you can do.

What you’ll do

  • Bring campaigns to life across print and digital: ads, social media, email, direct mail, brochures, sales collateral, infographics, and website media.
  • Design experiences people walk into, including tradeshow displays and event materials that make UWorld impossible to miss.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to turn messaging into visuals that connect, and guide internal teams toward the design approach that best fits their goals.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering on visual design for our web and mobile applications.
  • Create motion and illustration, from product animations to custom graphics and logos for current and future products.
  • Be a brand champion, helping evolve and protect the UWorld look and feel so it stays consistent, fresh, and recognizable everywhere it appears.
  • Own the finish line by reviewing and proofing your work and managing print production so everything ships polished and on time.
  • Push ideas forward with new concepts, layouts, and creative directions, even when nobody asked for them.

What you bring

  • 3+ years of professional graphic design experience
  • A bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • A portfolio that shows your range and your thinking (required; please include a link with your application)
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Ability to provide team enablement resources in Canva
  • Solid knowledge of print specifications and experience managing print production
  • A sharp eye for detail and a strong sense of what resonates with an audience
  • Comfort juggling multiple projects and fast turnarounds without sacrificing quality
  • Confidence presenting ideas, taking feedback, and explaining your design choices
  • Strong communication, organization, and self-motivation

Bonus points

  • Experience with Figma, UI/UX design, or designing for web and mobile
  • Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, or Bootstrap
  • Motion graphics or video skills (After Effects, Premiere Pro, or similar)
  • Experience using AI-assisted design tools thoughtfully in your workflow

Why you’ll love it here

  • Real impact: your work reaches millions of students at pivotal moments in their lives.
  • Variety: no two weeks look the same, and you’ll touch nearly every part of the business.
  • Competitive compensation based on experience
  • Comprehensive benefits: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability coverage
  • 401(k) with a 5% employer match (eligible after 90 days)
  • Paid time off that grows with your tenure, plus a generous paid holiday schedule
  • On-site group fitness classes and a relaxed, collaborative work environment
