As Product Manager, Platform, you will shape the foundational platform that connects Imagine Learning products, customers, data systems, reporting, and access services. You will partner closely with product, engineering, operations, data, and QA teams to translate stakeholder needs into scalable platform capabilities. Your work will help create reliable, seamless experiences for educators, students, customers, and internal teams across the Imagine Learning ecosystem.

In this role you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Define and communicate a clear platform product vision and roadmap aligned with company goals and internal stakeholder needs.
• Partner with internal product teams, engineering, and operations to understand requirements and translate them into platform capabilities.
• Work closely with engineering to make informed trade-offs, prioritize technical investments, and support platform scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Drive the end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery, requirements gathering, and prioritization through launch, iteration, and optimization.
• Champion adoption of the platform across the organization by promoting best practices and effective stakeholder engagement.
• Define success metrics, monitor usage, gather feedback, and continuously improve platform features using data-driven insights.
• Lead new and acquired products through platform integration, including discovery, environment setup, provisioning enablement, rostering integration, authentication configuration, unified portal experience, rollout, and QA coordination.
• Own and evolve shared services such as provisioning and licensing, automated rostering, universal authentication and SSO, unified portal experiences, and assessment and partner integrations.
• Drive LMS interoperability across Canvas, Schoology, and Google Classroom, including LTI Advantage assignment deep linking, grade passback, and rostering workflows.
• Champion enterprise-grade operational stability, data governance controls, schema consistency, and reliable rostering syncs across integrated products.
• Use emerging AI tools and AI-native product management practices to accelerate discovery, prototyping, PRD creation, data analysis, and user-flow simulation.
• Identify and prioritize AI-powered platform capabilities with clear evaluation frameworks and success metrics while safeguarding student privacy, data security, and operational integrity.

Share Your Expertise.

Experience, education, and qualifications essential for success in this role, include:

• Bachelor's degree in education, business, technology, or a related field and 5 years of product management experience, ideally with platform or infrastructure products, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Experience in the edtech industry is highly preferred.
• Proven AI adoption experience and comfort using AI tools to support product thinking, discovery, and execution.
• Experience with vibe coding and AI-enabled development tools such as Figma Make, Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Replit, v0, Lovable, Bolt, or similar platforms.
• Experience with K-12 interoperability standards and integrations such as OneRoster, LTI 1.3/LTI Advantage, SAML, Clever, and ClassLink is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of software development, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and modern engineering practices.
• Hands-on experience with Agile, Scrum, product discovery techniques, and technology solutions.
• Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheet.
• Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead, influence, and motivate cross-functional teams within a matrix organization.
• Highly organized, self-directed, and able to manage multiple priorities within demanding timeframes.
• Experience working on internal platforms or developer tools, with a background in software engineering or computer science preferred.
• Ability to travel quarterly or as needed for team meetings.

Compensation: Compensation for this role is competitive and aligned with local market benchmarks in India. Compensation may vary based on factors such as, but not limited to, individual skills, experience, training, education/certifications, geographic location, internal equity, and local market conditions.
