Your Role
Hudl is looking for a Legal Operations Lead to join our global Legal team. This role, which requires both paralegal skills and strong legal operations abilities, is critical to the strategic and operational excellence of the Legal team.
As the Legal Operations Lead, you’ll:
- Own and continuously improve legal operations processes. You’ll align them with company goals, identify inefficiencies and lead solutions with minimal oversight.
- Oversee legal tech tools. You’ll own configuration, training and automation for tools like Ironclad and e-billing systems. You’ll also drive adoption and performance reporting to enhance team productivity.
- Manage corporate governance. You’ll maintain organized corporate records and lead global entity management, including board documentation and compliance with governance requirements.
- Provide transactional and paralegal support. You’ll step in when needed during acquisitions, financing and corporate transactions, while also managing signature processes and supporting Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation.
- Build and maintain self-service legal resources. This content will empower teams, reduce legal workload, and help us manage inbound legal communications effectively.
- Manage special projects. These might include audits and regulatory inquiries, compliance tools, and legal admin tasks, including notarization and corporate filings.
Location
For this role, we're currently considering candidates who live within a commuting distance of our headquarters in Lincoln, Nebraska. While we have a flexible work policy, the majority of the team are office-based and your regular presence in-office is expected (3-4 days/week). We are not considering remote workers or relocation at this time.

- Experience. You’ve spent 8+ years working in a business environment.
- Detail-oriented. You can easily manage a docket and deadlines.
- Process-driven. You know how to optimize complex processes through process design and system optimization. You have an eye for glaring inefficiencies and a passion for regularly iterating on process improvements.
- Strong execution focus. Moving projects forward to meet desired goals comes naturally to you.
- Global citizen mindset. You have an appreciation for cultural diversity and are happy to adapt to differing cultural norms to support global teams and customers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. You have the ability to get your point across and can translate legalese for those who aren’t fluent.
- Intellectual curiosity. You’re passionate about legal research and are constantly seeking opportunities to level up your knowledge.
Nice-to-haves
- Legal experience. You’ve worked in a legal setting, either at a law firm or as a part of an in-house legal team in a business environment.
- Credentials. A paralegal certification is strongly preferred.
- CLM experience. You’ve worked as a super user for a system like Ironclad and can utilize that expertise at Hudl.
- Bilingual. If you’re able to speak another language, that’s a plus.
