About the Role: Are you an advertising sales professional looking to make an impact in the media market? An opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated Account Manager to drive sales with new and existing accounts for advertising and sponsorship sales within the physics market across North America. Primary responsibilities include prospecting for new business, managing existing account relationships and proposing marketing solutions from across the AIP (American Institute of Physics)/ Wiley portfolio of products to support our customers in achieving their marketing goals. The ideal candidate has a strong background in advertising and sponsorship sales, excellent presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills, and a solid understanding of electronics and electrical marketers and the tools they use to meet their goals.
Job Responsibilities: Prospect and win new customers while building strong client relationships Apply knowledge of digital advertising and content marketing solutions Grow existing accounts through upselling Build strong internal relationships with key stakeholders Consistently meet sales targets and deliver profitable growth Drive sales across the physics portfolio Demonstrate a strong understanding of advertising concepts and digital solutions Communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline activity
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher 2+ years of experience prospecting, winning new business, and managing accounts Experience working with managers, directors, and product managers in technical marketing roles Strong accountability for delivering growth Strong negotiation and communication skills Excellent presentation skills Solid CRM knowledge with the ability to build and manage a sales pipeline Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently We power infinite possibilities. The range below represents Wiley's good faith and reasonable estimate of the base pay for this role at the time of posting roles either in the United Kingdom, Canada or USA. It is anticipated that most qualified candidates will fall within the range, however the ultimate salary offered for this role may be higher or lower and will be set based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including but not limited to, geographic location, skills, and competencies.
