Marketing Coordinator Intern supporting the development and execution of a go-to-market strategy for a new film content initiative at Swank Motion Pictures. The role combines hands-on market research, lead generation, and digital campaign development to reach multiple audience segments across non-theatrical distribution channels.

Key Responsibilities: Research and profile target buyers, segment audiences, build lead databases, and assist in shaping go-to-market plans for film packages. Support digital campaign creation (email, social, paid ads), track engagement metrics, partner with sales team on lead qualification, and help refine value messaging through customer insights.
Skills & Tools: Strong research, analytical, and communication abilities with interest in digital marketing (email, social, paid ads, content marketing). Highly organized and detail-oriented with familiarity in CRM or sales tools (HubSpot, Zoho, Apollo, Clay) preferred.
Qualifications: Current undergraduate student pursuing Marketing, Communications, Business, or related degree with minimum 3.0 GPA. Preferred: Junior status with expected graduation December 2026 or May 2027.
Location: Hybrid - St. Louis, MO
Compensation: $18–$22/hr (estimated)

Major Hollywood and independent movie studios have appointed Swank Motion Pictures, Inc. as their exclusive licensing and distribution partner to offer their box-office hits for public performance in non-theatrical markets (markets outside theaters). Swank represents Walt Disney Pictures, Warner Bros., Sony Pictures, New Line Cinema, Lionsgate, MGM, and many more!

We are seeking a Marketing Coordinator Intern to join our team this summer. This role will focus on supporting the development and refinement of a comprehensive go-to-market strategy for a new content initiative designed to appeal to a broad range of audiences across multiple markets. The intern will play a hands-on role in identifying buyers, defining target segments, and exploring the best marketing channels (with a focus on digital strategies). Working alongside our Marketing team and in collaboration with a Sales Intern, this position will provide real-world exposure to campaign development, lead generation, and multi-market outreach.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and profile buyers in target markets
  • Segment audiences and identify key decision-makers
  • Build a database of potential leads aligned with sales outreach
  • Assist in shaping a go-to-market plan for packaged film offerings
  • Recommend best practices for targeting each segment across digital platforms
  • Contribute ideas for content marketing, events, and campaigns
  • Support creation of targeted email cadences, landing pages, and social campaigns
  • Help with digital ad recommendations (LinkedIn, Meta, etc.)
  • Track digital engagement and provide reporting on campaign performance
  • Partner with the Sales Intern to align marketing efforts with prospect outreach
  • Share qualified leads and insights from research and campaigns
  • Assist in collecting testimonials and success stories from pilot customers
  • Help define value messaging and refine through insights, research, and customer feedback

Educational Requirements

  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree
  • Preferred current Junior status with an expected graduation date of December 2026 or May 2027
