Role Snapshot

Regional Director of Partnerships (titled as Account Executive) responsible for accelerating revenue growth and net-new logo acquisition in K-12 education markets. This role combines field-based sales leadership with direct responsibility for pipeline generation and closing complex multi-stakeholder deals in the EdTech tutoring space.

Key Responsibilities: Build and advance sales pipeline through in-person and virtual discovery meetings, drive net-new business acquisition from school districts and education organizations, and navigate complex buying committees while traveling 75%+ to customer sites and regional events. Partner with internal teams to move deals toward execution and consistently meet revenue targets.
Skills & Tools: 5+ years of B2B sales experience in EdTech with proven ability to hunt and close net-new business; strong capability to create urgency in complex sales cycles, navigate district procurement processes, and work independently with high accountability. Prior teaching experience strongly preferred.
Qualifications: Minimum 5+ years of B2B sales experience specifically in EdTech, with proven track record of closing net-new business with school districts or state entities. Experience as an educator is strongly preferred.

Compensation: $80K–$100K/yr

Base Pay: $80,000-$100,000 + Commission



About the role

BookNook is seeking a highly driven, results-oriented Regional Partnerships Director responsible for accelerating revenue growth in key territories.

We are seeking a high-urgency sales professional with experience in education or EdTech. Candidates with prior experience as educators are strongly preferred.

This role requires the ability to position outcomes-driven EdTech solutions that directly support student learning and district instructional priorities, quickly build credibility and trust with district stakeholders, and consistently drive pipeline momentum and opportunities to close within complex education buying cycles.

This role requires a true hunter mentality — someone who can proactively build pipeline, create urgency in deals, and confidently push opportunities across the finish line. The ideal candidate is highly comfortable in the field, and operates with strong ownership and accountability for revenue outcomes.


What You’ll Do

Revenue Generation & Hunting

  • Aggressively build and advance pipeline in assigned territory
  • Drive net-new logo acquisition in K-12 and education-adjacent organizations
  • Rapidly progress opportunities from discovery → proposal → close
  • Create urgency and momentum in complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
  • Consistently meet or exceed defined short-cycle revenue targets

Customer Engagement

  • Conduct in-person and virtual discovery meetings and product demonstrations
  • Navigate district buying committees and procurement processes
  • Partner with internal teams to move deals efficiently toward execution

Travel & Field Presence

  • Travel up to 75%+ to customer sites, district meetings, conferences, and regional events during peak season
  • Maintain strong regional presence and relationship-building activity

Required Experience

  • 5+ years B2B sales experience must be in EdTech
  • Prior experience as an educator strongly preferred
  • Proven track record of hunting and closing net-new business
  • Experience selling into school districts or state entities
  • Demonstrated success closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals
  • Ability to work independently while driving urgent revenue outcomes
  • Willingness and ability to travel
