The Account Manager - MEA Learning drives revenue growth and retention across a portfolio of institutional accounts in higher education by building strategic relationships and identifying cross-selling opportunities for Wiley's print and digital learning solutions.

Key Responsibilities: Achieve annual sales targets across assigned territory, manage relationships with academic institutions and resellers, develop territory sales plans, present proposals and negotiate terms, and gather market intelligence to inform internal teams.
Skills & Tools: Strong consultative sales approach, deep understanding of academic institutions and higher education market, proficiency in MS Office, excellent written and verbal English communication, and proven ability to manage strategic accounts and exceed financial goals. Desirable: Arabic or Russian language proficiency.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required with 3-5+ years of sales experience in publishing or education-focused industries, demonstrated success hitting targets and managing strategic accounts, and knowledge of digital books, formats, and industry sales models.

Compensation: AED 72K–AED 120K/yr (estimated)

About the Role: The Account Manager is responsible for managing and retaining a portfolio of institutional accounts, driving revenue growth through relationship building, strategic account planning, and consultative sales approaches. This role requires deep understanding of customer needs, data-driven decision making, and the ability to identify cross-selling opportunities learning products. The primary focus of this role would be for higher education products and portfolio. How you will make an impact: Drive growth across the assigned territory by achieving and exceeding annual sales targets for Wiley’s print and digital solutions Build and manage strong relationships with academic institutions, resellers, and new prospects to expand adoption and renewals Promote front‑list and digital products, with a strong focus on supporting digital transition in Higher Education Develop and execute territory sales plans, managing pipeline activity, forecasting, and reporting against targets Represent Wiley products commercially, present proposals, and negotiate terms to close new and renewal business Gather and share market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitor insights to inform internal teams Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, customer service, and digital teams to deliver a strong customer experience What we look for: Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) Previous sales experience within publishing or education-focused industries 3-5+ years of experience hitting targets and managing strategic account Strong knowledge of academic institutions and the Higher Education market Working knowledge of digital books, formats, and industry sales models Proficiency in MS Office applications Strong written and verbal English communication skills High level of initiative, organisation, and attention to detail Ability to travel regularly across the assigned territory Proven success in exceeding financial sales goals using a consultative sales approach Proficiency in additional languages, particularly Arabic or Russian, is desirable.
