Role Snapshot

Join Discovery Education's People leadership team as an Organizational Effectiveness Director to drive strategic initiatives that enhance organizational performance, foster employee engagement, and accelerate growth across the enterprise. This player-coach role operates with high autonomy to translate business strategy into practical solutions that improve organizational effectiveness and readiness for change.

Key Responsibilities: Lead enterprise-wide organizational effectiveness strategies, manage employee engagement initiatives, contribute to organizational design and change enablement, and design/deliver scalable learning programs that build leadership capability. Advise senior leaders on organizational health, synthesize employee feedback into action plans, create internal communications, and administer learning systems while monitoring metrics and outcomes.
Skills & Tools: Strong consulting and organizational design expertise, proficiency in learning program development and instructional design frameworks (ADDIE, Kirkpatrick), advanced data analysis capabilities, and facilitation skills. Requires ability to influence across the organization, apply adult learning principles, and translate business strategy into practical solutions.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required, with a Master's degree preferred; minimum 8 years of experience in organizational effectiveness, organizational development, or related areas essential.
Location: Charlotte, North Carolina
Compensation: $151K–$168K/yr
