Role Snapshot
Join Wayground as a Business Development Representative to drive sales growth by sourcing leads and converting qualified opportunities for their educational platform used by 90% of U.S. schools. You'll help schools and districts engage millions of students while contributing to a mission-driven, high-growth SaaS company.
Key Responsibilities: Source new pipeline through outbound prospecting via phone, email, and social channels, conduct discovery conversations to identify prospect needs, and route qualified leads to account executives. Maintain CRM hygiene, achieve qualified opportunity quotas, and collaborate with Account Executives to develop territory-specific prospecting strategies.
Skills & Tools: Strong written and verbal communication with ability to craft compelling cold emails and conduct confident cold calls; data-driven mindset with proficiency in CRM tools and sales analytics platforms; ability to research and personalize outreach to educators and district leaders.
Qualifications: 0-2 years of outbound sales or business development experience (SaaS preferred); familiarity with K-12 education market and CRM tools preferred; passion for education technology and ability to communicate effectively with school administrators.
