District Partnership Specialist

The District Partnership Specialist fosters relationships with K-12 schools and districts to promote and implement the TeacherLists platform, enhancing school supply list management. This role combines sales development, account management, and customer success to drive district adoption and retention.
Job Description
Build & Grow District Partnerships
- Prospect and engage school districts through a mix of outbound outreach, follow-up, and referrals
- Guide assigned districts through adoption of TeacherLists, from initial conversation through successful implementation
- Build trusted relationships with school and district administrators, communications staff, and regional partners
Support Adoption & Retention
- Deliver virtual product demos and training sessions tailored to district needs
- Monitor engagement and proactively supportassigned districts to drive long-term adoption and renewal
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify risks, opportunities, and improvement areas
Manage Data & Systems
- Maintain accurate records in HubSpot CRM, tracking outreach, engagement, and status across assigned districts
- Use data and reporting to identify trends, growth opportunities, and areas for improvement
- Contribute to improving internal processes and workflows that support the district lifecycle
Represent the Brand
- Serve as a positive, knowledgeable representative of TeacherLists at conferences and trade shows (4–6 trips per year)
- Provide ongoing feedback and insights from districts to help product and marketing teams stay aligned with market trends
Meet Goals & Drive Impact
- Achieve annual goals related to district engagement and retention
- Support team-wide initiatives tied to growth, quality, and customer satisfaction

Qualifications - What You Bring
Required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging external partners and stakeholders
- Comfort working with technology, including CRM systems and Microsoft Excel
- Willingness to travel overnight 4–6 times per year for conferences or partner events
Preferred
- Experience in the K–12 education or EdTech space (former school and/or district professionals encouraged to apply)
- 1–3 years of experience in a client-facing sales, partnerships, or customer success role, such as:
- Sales Development Representative (SDR)
- Business Development Representative (BDR)
- Account Coordinator or Account Executive (Junior/Associate level)
- Customer Success Coordinator or Customer Success Manager (CSM)
- Partnerships or Channel Coordinator
- Inside Sales Representative
- Experience using HubSpot or similar CRM platforms
- Interest in stepping into greater ownership of accounts,partnership, and territory or portfolio strategy
