Key Responsibilities: Stage trailers to assigned loading/unloading doors, clean and sweep trailers as needed, maintain communication with supervision, and report all truck issues and safety concerns observed during the shift.
Skills & Tools: Safe driving and trailer handling abilities, attention to detail, strong communication skills, ability to follow safety protocols, and physical capability to perform cleaning and staging tasks.
Qualifications: Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) required; previous distribution center or driving experience preferred; ability to work 2nd shift schedule and conform to all safety regulations.
Location: In-Person - Midway, KY
Compensation: $28K–$38K/yr (estimated)
Job Description
We are currently searching for a 2nd Shift Driver to join our team. This is a full-time Driver at our Midway, Kentucky Distribution Center, just 15-20 minutes outside of Lexington. Drivers are responsible for the safe placement of assigned trailers to their assigned doors and staging areas.
A day in the office looks like this:
- Staging trailers to their assigned loading/unloading doors
- Cleaning and sweeping trailers as needed/instructed
- Maintaining communication with supervision throughout the shift
- Communicating all truck issues observed to supervision
- Conforming to all safety rules and using all appropriate safety equipment
