The K-12 Professional Learning Designer is a pedagogical expert who develops and organizes professional development for prospective and current clients. The goals of the Professional Learning and Development (PL&D) department are to support change management for school districts, ensure content and product expertise for teachers and administrators, maintain a customer feedback loop to the organization, and drive renewal sales of Core products.

Position Information: This is a regular, full-time position, reporting to the Director of Professional Learning Design and Cert.
Compensation: Base pay is anticipated to be between $77,050 and $95,000 per hour/year. Eligible employees may also receive incentive/commission/annual bonus pay based on individual and/or company performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as, but not limited to, individual skills, experience, training, education/certifications, geographic location, internal equity, and local market conditions.
Location: In this US-based position your location will be remote.

Envision Your Experience.
In this role you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Create and refine an excellent client experience by developing world-class professional learning training that ensures client participants achieve the outcomes of the learning session.
- Demonstrate subject matter expertise in learning, presenting, and providing in-service and professional learning training for [grades and subject].
- Collaborate with both internal and external experts to identify best practices and create tailored professional learning solutions, such as case-based workshops, lesson demos, educator coaching, and on-demand resources.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams in iterative sprint cycles to plan, develop, and refine user stories, ensuring continuous delivery of high-quality content and adapting to feedback in real time.
- Builds trust and credibility with teachers, staff, and district leaders by ensuring that training participants receive organized, exceptional professional development.
- Support a culture centered on partner success and develop processes that support the achievement of the business goals.
- Travel to deliver high-quality professional development sessions to schools and districts with up to 30% possible travel.

Share Your Expertise.
Experience, education, and qualifications essential for success in this role, include:
- Bachelor’s degree in education or a relevant field, and at least 10+ years of relevant experience in developing, delivering, and improving meaningful professional learning experiences or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
- A master’s degree in education, Educational Technology, or a relevant field is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and previous experience working with a customer relations management (CRM) system.
- Ability to understand agile development practices to ensure high-quality content development.
- Knowledge of industry-accepted best practices and tools.
- Strong multi-tasking, project management, and proactive problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to articulate instructional/technical concepts with clarity.
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and excellent follow-through.
- Proficient in writing for an audience of adult learners.
- Deep knowledge of pedagogical best practices, state standards, and shifts within the subject area.
- Experience with Imagine Learning products preferred.
