Summary
An Associate Publisher role supporting the scientific community through innovative publications in health and medicine, responsible for managing a portfolio of journals and driving growth through strategic development and partnerships.
Key Responsibilities: Develop journal portfolio strategies, collaborate with publishers and stakeholders, establish networks with key external and internal contacts, engage cross-functional teams, and ensure quality editorial and publishing operations while monitoring performance metrics.
Skills & Tools: Strong background in academic publishing with excellent English communication skills (written and oral), ability to engage and influence cross-functional and external teams, self-starter mentality, and entrepreneurial spirit with understanding of market opportunities.
Qualifications: In-depth educational background with keen interest in academic publishing and STM publishing experience required; ability to identify market needs, adapt to changing priorities, and travel as needed for stakeholder engagement.
Location: Hybrid in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States
Compensation: $59,200 – $98,600/year
