Sales Development Manager at Swivl drives new business growth in K-12 education by generating and qualifying prospects for the company's innovative teaching reflection tools. This role is essential to building Swivl's pipeline and supporting the sales team's revenue objectives.

Key Responsibilities: Generate new prospects and execute outbound campaigns via phone and email to meet daily/weekly targets while qualifying inbound leads. Achieve weekly sales goals by setting qualified meetings for the sales team and providing preparation information for successful handoffs.
Skills & Tools: Excellent phone, written, and verbal communication skills with strong ability to build rapport, ask qualifying questions, and handle objections. Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing time independently in a virtual environment while maintaining integrity and responsiveness.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with 1+ years of sales development or sales experience; previous K-12 teaching experience and education industry exposure (SaaS preferred) are valuable. Must demonstrate phone/email prospecting ability, active listening skills, and commitment to exceeding sales objectives.
Location: In-Person - Menlo Park, CA
Compensation: $50K–$70K/yr (estimated)

As a Sales Development Representative, you’ll play a key role in driving Swivl’s growth in K-12 education. Partnering with our energetic Sales team, you’ll focus on developing new opportunities within school districts for our cutting-edge Reflectivity and Mirror products

What You’ll Do:

  • Generate new prospects and nurture existing prospects through outbound phone calls and emails to meet daily and weekly targets
  • Execute outbound campaigns regularly developed on your own or in collaboration with account managers and management
  • Meet weekly call requirements
  • Achieve weekly sales goals by setting qualified meetings for the sales team
  • Provide enough information from your qualification call to make the meeting a success
  • Regularly participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
  • Follow up with and qualify inbound leads in a timely manner
  • Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Have:

  • 1+ years of sales development/sales experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Previous K-12 teaching experience
  • Experience in education industry (K-12 & higher ed), SaaS preferred
  • Excellent phone, written and verbal skills
  • Well organized with efficient time management skills
  • Eager to collaborate
  • Maintain a positive attitude and commitment to exceed sales objectives

Nice To Haves:

  • Previous experience selling SaaS or Educational services
  • Lead Development or Sales Development experience preferred

This position is compensated by the base salary and commission.
