Role Snapshot

Full Stack Software Engineer at EverDriven responsible for building high-quality, scalable products that support the company's alternative student transportation platform. You'll own and deliver multiple features end-to-end while driving the evolution of their tech-enabled services.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and extend front-end and backend systems for EverDriven's portals, prototype new features, and design business/system-level services and APIs. Collaborate with frontend and backend engineers, provide project estimations, deliver maintainable code, and contribute to team culture and agile practices.
Skills & Tools: Strong proficiency with Microsoft Azure, C#, React/HTML/CSS, Docker, and Kubernetes, with understanding of RESTful API patterns and front-end optimization. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with ability to think innovatively and work collaboratively.
Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of engineering experience building features end-to-end with diverse technology exposure. Passion for technology and proven ability to deliver complex projects with high-quality, maintainable code.

Compensation: $115K–$130K/yr

Position Summary:

The ideal candidate is passionate about building high-quality, innovative, and scalable products and can iterate rapidly. You’ll get the chance to own and deliver multiple features and be a driving force behind the evolution of our product.

Salary Range: $115,000-$130,000/year, based on experience + bonus potential

Location - Greenwood Village, CO. Hybrid role - 4 days in the office and 1 days remote.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver results on complex projects, including leading some projects end-to-end
    • Prototype, develop and extend our front-end and backend systems in support of our portals.
    • Assist with design and definition of business and system level services, APIs, and front-end portal using modern design principles and patterns
    • Work with Frontend and Backend engineers to ensure seamless delivery
    • Help to provide an accurate timeline and scoping estimations on engineering projects
    • Deliver high-quality maintainable code
  • Provide leadership in feature implementation & code quality
  • Contribute to a positive and productive team culture by supporting your team and collaborating with others
  • Follow agile/continuous integration engineering best practices

Qualifications:

  • 2 years of engineering experience building features end-to-end
  • Have a passion for technology and a drive to think out of the box
  • Diverse experience with a broad range of technologies and services – some of our key technologies are Microsoft Azure, C#, React/HTML/CSS, Docker, Kubernetes
  • Understanding of RESTful API patterns and how to optimize for front-end applications
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work across environments and teams
  • BA/BS in Computer Science or a related field preferred
