The Role

We are looking for an exceptional individual with a strong background in data driven decision making, partner relationship management, and business development. This role requires someone who is not only adept at analyzing and interpreting complex data to make actionable decisions but also has significant experience working with resellers and distributors in the educational technology sector. You’ll need to be a self-starter and energy amplifier, someone who has a proven ability to execute strategic initiatives that drive channel growth.

You will lead programs and projects that support our partners in the K-12 space, focusing on the development of mutually beneficial business plans, the execution of key initiatives, and driving revenue growth. Your success will be measured by the strength and effectiveness of the relationships you build with partners, as well as the growth of their pipeline and bookings.

What You'll Do

  • Strategic Partner Management: Oversee a portfolio of high-impact resellers, distributors, and solution partners, with a focus on driving long-term growth through tailored business plans and execution.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage data to analyze performance, forecast trends, and identify areas for improvement. Make strategic recommendations to partners based on these insights to drive revenue and market share.
  • Program and Initiative Leadership: Design, implement, and manage partner programs, ensuring alignment with GoGuardian’s overall business goals. Drive partner enablement and demand generation initiatives that foster success for both GoGuardian and its partners.
  • Collaboration Across Teams: Work closely with internal stakeholders (sales, marketing, product, customer success) to ensure seamless execution of partner programs and alignment on goals.
  • Business Performance Reviews: Lead business reviews with senior leadership and partner teams, ensuring transparent communication of performance metrics, opportunities, and areas of improvement.
  • Partner Enablement: Responsible for planning, organizing, integrating, executing and evaluating various partner enablement and demand generation initiates. Helping partners effectively promote and implement GoGuardian’s solutions within their customer base.
  • Pipeline Development: Build and manage a robust pipeline of business within the partner network, ensuring accurate forecasting, execution of joint business plans, and consistent growth in bookings.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay informed on the latest trends and innovations within the educational technology landscape, adjusting strategies and programs as necessary to stay ahead of market demands.

Who You Are

  • 7+ years of experience in channel account management, business development, or partner management, with a strong emphasis on resellers, distributors, and other strategic partners.
  • Proven expertise in data analysis and decision-making. You should be able to interpret large datasets and make informed decisions that impact channel strategy and partner success.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate actionable insights, and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Experience with channel performance metrics, incentive programs, and pipeline management. You should be comfortable using dashboards and data-driven reports to communicate results and track progress.
  • Solid experience in budgeting for channel programs, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources while driving maximum ROI.
  • Exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal—and the ability to present complex data and strategies clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset—ability to drive initiatives independently and lead cross-functional teams to achieve results.
  • Proven track record of building strong relationships and working collaboratively with partners to drive mutual business success.
  • High energy and passion for technology and education—you should be excited about amplifying partner success and bringing innovative solutions to schools and districts.
  • Preferred Skills:
  • Deep understanding of the educational technology landscape, especially within the K-12 sector, and knowledge of channel operating models.
  • Experience with educational technology platforms and familiarity with K-12 software sales cycles, network security solutions, or similar industries is a plus.
