Field Sales Consultant for Next Generation Learning (NGL) K12 products at Cengage, responsible for driving sales and adoption of educational solutions in the New York market. This role directly impacts student learning outcomes by connecting schools with innovative digital learning tools.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct field sales activities including prospecting, presenting, and closing deals with K12 schools and districts in the NYC region. Build and maintain relationships with educational administrators and decision-makers to expand Cengage's market presence.
Skills & Tools: Strong consultative sales abilities with experience in B2B education or similar complex sales environments; excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. Demonstrated ability to understand customer needs and articulate product value propositions.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred with 2+ years of sales experience, ideally in education technology or K12 markets. Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing multiple accounts.
