Summary

Strategic Account Executive role at HackerRank leading sales efforts for Astra, a frontier AI data and annotation services platform. This founding sales position involves shaping go-to-market strategy and building a scalable revenue stream for a high-growth business line.

Key Responsibilities: Lead new business sales and expand existing customer accounts while pioneering growth playbooks for the AI data space. Partner with leadership on go-to-market strategy, pricing, positioning, and commercial models, plus collaborate with product and engineering on new data offerings.
Skills & Tools: Strong presentation skills with ability to explain technical and business concepts clearly; fluency in AI model development concepts (SFT, RLHF, data's role in training); high intellectual horsepower to grasp complex ideas and adapt quickly in fast-moving markets.
Qualifications: Experience in data, API, or platform sales with exposure to AI labs or enterprise AI leaders preferred; genuine curiosity about AI advancements and a strong network in the AI community; entrepreneurial mindset thriving in zero-to-one environments.
Location: Onsite in Santa Clara, California, United States (5 days/week)
Compensation: $200,000 – $275,000/year (includes base salary and incentive-based compensation based on quota attainment)
