Summary
The Podcast Associate supports the Quick and Dirty Tips podcast network by managing operations, contributing to marketing efforts, and handling administrative tasks. This multi-talented role ensures smooth operation of the podcast platform through data analysis, editorial support, and content management.
Key Responsibilities: Key responsibilities include data gathering and financial/download reporting, editorial support and content ideation, audio/video editing and production, creating marketing graphics and video assets, website maintenance, loading content into podcast platforms, and researching new audio/video technology.
Skills & Tools: Required skills include strong organizational abilities, data analysis and financial tracking, audio/video production and editing, graphic design, copywriting and editing, proficiency in podcast platforms (Apple Podcast Connect, Spotify for Creators, YouTube, Simplecast), spreadsheet management (Google Sheets, Excel), and SEO basics.
Qualifications: Preferred qualifications include at least 2 years of experience in the podcast industry with focus on digital marketing and production, plus a college degree or equivalent professional experience. Internships in podcast industry count toward experience requirements.
Location: Hybrid in New York, New York, United States
Compensation: $50,000 – $55,000/year
