Summary
Field Account Executive at HMH responsible for building partnerships with school district leaders and driving new business in Long Island, NY. This role focuses on generating revenue, securing renewals, and advancing student achievement through educational technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities: Design sales strategies addressing customer needs while meeting assigned quotas, strategically plan sales calls, identify district-specific processes and key issues, and respond to customer requests with timeliness and professionalism. Maintain Salesforce.com records, communicate market trends to management, and develop professional credibility with customers.
Skills & Tools: Strong communication and consultative selling abilities, proficiency with Salesforce.com, market trend recognition, and product knowledge. Comfortable conversing with educational leaders and able to articulate features, advantages, and benefits of technology solutions.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in education, business, marketing, or related field required, with educational/technology sales experience mandatory. Classroom teaching experience is preferred; must be willing to travel up to 70% via air and car.
Location: Field-based in Long Island, New York
Compensation: $75,000 β $85,000/year plus uncapped commissions
