Role Snapshot
Remote school social worker role with Parallel delivering direct and indirect social work services to K-12 students while collaborating with mental health professionals. Focus on helping students thrive through psycho-educational evaluations, IEP development, and family support.
Key Responsibilities: Provide direct and indirect social work services, collaborate on IEPs with social work-specific goals, conduct mental health assessments, and develop positive behavioral interventions. Facilitate parental support, train staff on behavioral management, and provide insights on cultural and societal factors affecting student behavior.
Skills & Tools: Active LCSW license required with proficiency in National SSW Practice Model and expertise in MTSS frameworks, counseling, and evaluations. Must demonstrate strong communication skills for diverse populations and be tech-savvy with experience in tele-health services.
Qualifications: Minimum 1 year full-time on-site school social work experience (excluding internships) with valid state K-12 school license or certificate. Proficiency in National SSW Practice Model domains required; additional language fluency is preferred.
Location: United States
Compensation: $45K–$70K/yr
