The Environmental Compliance Lead ensures compliance with global environmental regulations and oversees workplace health and safety programs at Promethean. This role manages packaging and electronics recycling, regulatory requirements, and supports the company's sustainability and workplace safety initiatives.

Key Responsibilities: Own and coordinate environmental compliance programs focused on packaging, electronics, battery recycling, waste management, and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) requirements. Monitor legislative changes, maintain compliance records, coordinate Health & Safety training and inspections, and drive continuous improvement in environmental and workplace safety processes.
Skills & Tools: Strong understanding of environmental regulations, packaging and electronics recycling compliance, and occupational health and safety practices. Excellent organizational, communication, and project management abilities with capacity to coordinate across internal teams and external regulatory authorities.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety sciences or related discipline with 3-5 years of experience in an Environmental, Health and Safety position.

The Environmental, Health and Safety Lead is responsible for ensuring compliance with global environmental regulations and overseeing workplace health and safety programs. The role manages compliance for packaging & electronics recycling, and related regulatory requirements, coordinates employee Health & Safety training, and supports supplier quality administration for Stock Action Requests (SAR), Requests for Concession (RFC), and Environmental Health & Safety administrative activities Responsibilities: :
  • Own and coordinate environmental compliance programs, with a primary focus on packaging, electronics and battery recycling, waste management, and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) requirements
    • Monitor changes in environmental legislation and coordinate the implementation of new compliance requirements across the business

    • Coordinate environmental registrations, reporting, declarations, and regulatory submissions with external compliance providers and regulatory authorities

    • Maintain environmental compliance records, certifications, registrations, and supporting documentation

    • Support sustainability initiatives focused on waste reduction, recycling, and environmentally responsible business practices

    • Coordinate selected Health & Safety activities, including employee training, workplace inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations

    • Coordinate EHS-related purchase orders and invoices with the Finance team

    • Drive continuous improvement of environmental compliance and workplace safety processes while supporting other related initiatives as needed

Requirements: :
  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational, Health & Safety sciences or related discipline
  • 3 - 5 years’ experience in an Environmental, Health and Safety position
  • Knowledge of environmental reporting systems and regulations
  • Experience coordinating Health & Safety training and workplace safety programs
  • Experience coordinating with regulatory agencies, consultants, and third-party compliance providers
Base Range: £42,800 - £58,800 + Bonus Eligible
