Entry-level Software Developer role at Wiley's eJournalPress division, providing Peer Review and Production software to academic societies and scholarly publications. You will program client-requested enhancements, identify and resolve bugs, and participate in the full software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities: Program client-requested enhancements (including direct client communication), identify and analyze bugs, test coding changes, and document solutions while performing full SDLC processes including design, implementation, testing, and maintenance.
Skills & Tools: Strong understanding of SQL (MSSQL/ORACLE), HTML, JavaScript, CSS, DHTML, XML, and Apache; willingness to learn Perl; ability to analyze and solve problems, manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision, and communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
Qualifications: Entry-level position requiring foundational knowledge in web development and database management; ability to learn quickly and work independently with minimal supervision.
Location: In-Person - Amman, Jordan
Compensation: $12K–$18K/yr (estimated)

Summary eJournalPress is currently seeking to fill a full-time opportunity for an entry-level Software Developer.
